That’s the name of the movie soundtrack that I’m in the middle of recording. The first thing I said to myself was, “Well, I hope it’s not a disaster score too!”

Well, so far, so good...kind of. Who invented 5/8 and 7/8 time anyway?

I can’t recommend the movie yet, ‘cause it could easily be one of those cheap comedies that’s not worth beans and is probably more crude than beans...but some of the French Horn parts are actually kind of cool. One part sounds like the guy stole a sliver of Holst’s Jupiter.

Either way, I don’t really care if I never hear this music again, ‘cause while typing up this post, I’ve made about $10.

Niiiiiice.

iPhone...iWait

I got an iPhone 3G. “How?” you ask. Good question.

Devin, Jon and I all waited out on the sidewalk in front of the University Mall from about 9 pm ‘till 9 am. We had all sorts of fun YouTube-ing, chatting with some other geeks, meeting the Blendtec Blender guy, and Devin and I also watched an edited version of Shooter.

Well, what do I have to show for it? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! (name that movie)

That’s only because I took it back three days later with a $19.90 restocking fee. : (

It was great while it lasted, but I think I’ll find a better way for an iPhone to fit into my our budget.

Talk About Crossroads

So I went searching for the number ’25’ on Google images, and this is the one that caught my eye. With my pending marriage, I guess the ripe old age of 25 could really become a ‘crossroads,’ if you will, for me.

Let me tell you what else I found out about the number twenty-five, just in case this number didn’t mean enough to you already:

Engaged

Yes, it’s official; I’m engaged to the most wonderful woman I’ve ever met. We’ll be married in the Bountiful Temple on July 31st with a reception in Orem on August 1st.

Here’s our story (well, at least her version). I’ll have to put my version up here sometime.

Anyway, a quick rundown of this Mary character:

From Orem, Utah
Served in Chicago North, Spanish
Majoring in Geography (graduates this December)
Sings, plays piano and violin
Avid runner
4th of 6 kids
Great cook
Works at Diamond Rental
Powerful testimony
Really good with kids

Anyway, you might be starting to get the idea. Pretty much, she’s already my better half...or maybe even three quarters.

3 Miles

As lame as this might sound, I ran farther today than I ever have in my life--a mere three miles. However, this is (supposedly) only the beginning.

Mary is my main motivator, and so far she’s motivated me to wake up earlier (by about 2 hours), buy new shoes (~$80), buy a knee support thing ($20), and enter a half-marathon ($33).

Now, if that’s not love...
